What is AAAI ?

Founded in 1979, the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI, https://aaai.org) is a nonprofit scientific society devoted to advancing the scientific understanding of the mechanisms underlying thought and intelligent behavior and their embodiment in machines. AAAI aims to promote research in, and responsible use of, artificial intelligence. AAAI also aims to increase public understanding of artificial intelligence, improve the teaching and training of AI practitioners, and provide guidance for research planners and funders concerning the importance and potential of current AI developments and future directions. The AAAI Benin Chapter is a representation of this association in Benin Republic.

MIFY Artificial Intelligence Contest (MAIC)

With the company MIFY, we organize MAIC. MAIC (https://maic.mify-ai.com) would like to demystify the concept of Artificial Intelligence and promote certain games of African origin. MAIC is an annual International Artificial Intelligence competition in which different participants must find the best algorithm to play a strategy game with a time limit for each decision to be made.
